Learning Experience Designer | Capability Upskilling
As part of a tight-knit team of learning designers, I helped integrate video learning into an already sophisticated educational landscape. Charged with providing fundamental understanding and foundational capability upskilling, we consistently delivered high-level material that achieved measured success with our kaimahi (staff).
Whether starting a project from a blank canvas needs analysis or targeting a specific item of mahi, we used the ADDIE model as our spine. We collaborated on a High-Level Design (HLD) to lock down the scope, impact, objectives, success measures, and stakeholder alignment. Moving agilely into the Detailed-Level Design (DLD) phase, we mapped out explicit project needs, including source materials, interactive activities, and development platforms.
Once approved, I drew from my LXD toolkit to breathe life into our ideas. Combining technical skills in Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and PowerPoint with a deeply collaborative and creative approach, I developed modules, facilitator guides, and videos. These assets directly lifted our service delivery agents' ability and confidence to manage kiritaki (client) claims, deliver scheme-specific advice, navigate complex policy, and accurately document phone calls and medical notes.
